Atheist answer me this!?

i have never felt any need to believe in any god and i have never read the bible fully only bits of it but i'm put off of reading it after i was given a pamphlet entitled the world according to the bible and it had on the cover a peaceful scene where 2 children were petting a lion (male) and i thought there is no way that could happen this must be the before shot and the after shot is in the adult readers version.
